Australian diamond miner Lucapa has announced the discovery of a rare rough gemstone diamond weighing 170 ct in the Lulo mine in Angola, Africa, the largest rough gemstone grade found in three hundred years. With a soft, bright pink hue and crystal growth structure and alluvial marks visible on the surface, the diamond was identified as a Type IIa diamond with excellent internal clarity and the opportunity to cut out large particles of finished pink diamond. The rough pink diamond, named "The Lulo Rose/Lulo Rose", is expected to be sold publicly in the second half of 2022 for an international tender through Sodiam, Angola's state-owned diamond trading company. #Jewelry #Pink Diamond # #钻石 #
