The battle is fruitful! Jaguars in Mato Grosso, Brazil, battle Caimans
In mato grosso, Brazil, biologist Gustavo Gaspari photographed a group of male jaguars hunting on a boat in Port Joffrey. The jaguar stared at the caiman, waiting for the right moment to attack. Later, they churned in the water, and the jaguar moved around the water with its prey, then put the crocodile underneath to rest. The 50-pound caiman is enough to feed the jaguar family. Photographers' favorite photos are of the real size of the two animals as jaguars drag caimans out of the water and walk around the beach.
