Black Bazaar (scientific name: Aviceda leuphotes) is a bird of the genus Oriole falcon in the family Hawkaceae. It is a small bird of prey with a long, vertically erect blue-black crown feather on the top of its head, which is extremely prominent. It inhabits hilly, mountain or plain forests, and sometimes occurs on sparse grass slopes, villages and forest edge fields, mostly in the morning and evening. It feeds mainly on insects, but also on small vertebrates such as lizards, bats, rodents and frogs. It inhabits the top branches of tall trees and nests with thin branches. It is often active alone, and sometimes it is also a small group of 3-5 animals. During breeding, 2 to 3 eggs are laid at a time. It is a resident bird. The black-crowned falcon is a national second-class protected animal in China, and the brown-crowned falcon is distributed in China.

The overall body feathers are black , the thorax is broadly white , the wings are white spots , and the abdomen is dark maroon stripes.
