Never expected! This hut was not made by humans, but a bug.

When you first saw this, did you know it before, but you didn't know it at all?

Déjà vu because it looks like some sort of DIY craft, or a cabin where elves live in Disney movies.

But you don't recognize it, because both the crafts and the Disney cottage are a bit rough.

The trouble is that it is indeed crafts and cottages, but not in the movie, it is in reality.

Most importantly, it was not built by humans, but a masterpiece of a small bug.

No one believes you when you're dead!

But facts are facts. See the head of the person under the last stick in the lower left corner?

You didn't expect that to happen, did you? This worm is a moth, also called a coatworm.

While most people may not have seen it, or even known of its existence, the population of the moth is really huge, with about 1350 species in the world, distributed everywhere except Antarctica.

The biggest feature of moths is that from a young age, they will build their own houses out of plants, sand, dirt, lichens and other materials, and then hide in it, like a warm little shelter.

These shelters vary, some are simple, some are complex, a bit like a bag, a bit like a coat, and that's how the "moth" comes from.

These moths are really masters of art, and it's hard to imagine how they used their delicate little bodies to cut branches into neat wooden sticks and then subtly glued them together to form this spiral-shaped Disney fairy tale cottage.

But this kind of master, like the human master, is mostly bad.

In the larval stage, they live indoors for several months, sticking out their heads and thoraxes and chewing on the leaves of the plant.

With the protection of the house, birds and other insects have a hard time preying on them. In addition, they are numerous and often eat up the leaves of the entire tree, leading to the death of the tree.

In China's tea-producing regions, for example, there are at least 20 species of tea garden moths that not only cut off tea leaves to build houses, but also constantly nibble on young leaves and stems. The warm room will also help them curl up in a corner, spend the cold winter, and continue the feast in the spring of the following year, which is extremely harmful to the tea tree.

As soon as the moth's larvae hatch, they begin to build houses. After they built it, they took the house everywhere and slowly grew up.

Look at the new house of the larvae on the right, and the old house of the adult worm on the left, all covered with moss, indicating that the growth process is still quite long.

After eating and drinking enough, the moth will find a place to hang the house steadily, spit silk into a cocoon in it, and transform into a pupa.

After the pupa develops into a moth, it will break out of the cocoon. The female moth has no wings and remains in her house, releasing sex hormones.

When the male moth smells the female moth's "sex number", it will spread its wings, and the "male" will flock to the female moth's house to mate.

There are also some species of female moths that crawl out of their houses to mate with male moths.

After that, the female lays eggs in her own home and then dies.

After these eggs hatch, they begin to cut down the branches and leaves to build a house, and begin the next life cycle.

So the female moth spends her whole life in her own home, while the male moth wants to be the groom's official and flies out of his home, indulges in it and dies.

Does such a beautiful house subvert your perception?

There is no bride price, self-built marriage house, self-reliance, postpartum death. This is the life of a female moth.

The male moth has worked hard all his life, just to grow a pair of wings and fly to her distant side to share the glory of love.

This moth has another name, the debt avoidance moth. Don't know how it came about.

But if both the female and the male moth are like people, the house needs to be mortgaged, and they are busy working for others all day, can they still work for love instead of debt?

Maybe that's why the debt moth is avoided. Let's go.

No debt, a simple life is happiness.
