Abstract: "Bright Homeport Cup" Blueberry Picking Staff Skills Competition began.
Sponsored by the Trade Union of Bright Food Group and undertaken by the Trade Union of Baimaoling Farm Company, the "Bright Homeport Cup" Blueberry Picking Skills Competition with the theme of "Welcoming the 20th National Congress, Striving for a New Journey, and Building a New Era of Meritorious Service" was recently launched. After two hours of fierce competition, 206 farm workers harvested a total of 1,080 pounds of blueberries, demonstrated their picking skills, and spelled out the spirit of labor.
In the blueberry base, small shrubs grow lushly, and the branches are covered with clusters of crystalline and full of small berries, some with a little green, some with a red glow, and the ripe ones are dark blue, emitting a seductive fruity aroma. With the order of the referee, 206 employees from all units of the farm company rushed into the blueberry field, and within 40 minutes, the fresh fruits were carefully loaded into the basket, carefully selected, the leaves, branches, red fruits, and bad fruits were removed, and the weighing records were recorded after passing the referee's inspection, and the scene was orderly and the labor enthusiasm was high.
Baimaoling Farm Blueberry Base is located on the shore of Longsu Lake in Langxi County, Anhui Province, with a good surrounding ecological environment, far from towns, factories and traffic routes. At present, the base has built a standard planting park of about 1400 acres, a high-tech matrix blueberry base of more than 100 acres, and introduced more than ten new varieties of blueberries such as emeralds, jewelry, and stars.
