In 1970, during the Vietnam War, an American sergeant was explaining to a group of recruits about traps commonly used by the Vietnamese army. The "roller" (bamboo tip trap) full of sharp spikes in front of you is one of the most common dangers. Although it looks simple, this kind of mechanism that spreads throughout the jungle is extremely lethal, and if you are not careful, you will die. (Figure 1)

In June 1945, a group of Allied soldiers were enjoying the hospitality of their boss at a winery in France, each of them smiling at the camera with the finest red wine in their hands. At this time, two weeks had passed since the Normandy landings, and after the liberation of France, they were regarded as great heroes by the French people. (Figure 2)

In 1941, three German soldiers, having just used anti-tank guns, destroyed a Soviet T-34 tank. The moment they saw the tank explode, two of the soldiers, couldn't help but stand up and raise their hands to cheer face to face. You can see that their whole person is gray-headed, and presumably they have suffered no less losses before. (Figure 3)

On 24 July 1942, Voronezh was completely occupied by the Germans. The Germans began raiding the surrounding area. Two German soldiers, in a small village nearby, found that the villagers' homes had two white and fat piglets, picked up a wooden stick, tied a rope around the piglet's neck, and led the piglet out of the village, which was their booty. (Figure 4)

In the Philippines during World War II, there was a cartoon on the street depicting the crimes committed by the Japanese invaders after they set foot on the philippine soil. A passing Japanese soldier was staring at the manga, and he seemed to have become accustomed to the content of the manga, which showed how bad the Japanese army during World War II really was. (Figure 5)

A Soviet soldier in World War II, holding a bomb in his hand, loaded the bomber. On the side of the bomb, a short sentence was written: For father and mother. This sentence speaks to the hearts of the Soviet generals. They were all looking forward to the war ending as soon as possible, so they could return to their hometowns and spend time with their families. (Figure 6)

In April 1941, the German and Italian armies, after meeting in Yugoslavia, took this group photo. The Italian and German troops in the photo are very happy. At that time, the German army was like a broken bamboo, and with the assistance of friendly troops, everything looked so beautiful. Who would have thought that in the days to come, the Italian Army would become a teammate who dragged its feet? (Figure 7)

After the outbreak of the Second World War, many British men were conscripted into the army, and the rear factories needed a large number of workers to ensure that supplies could be supplied in time, at which time the British women stepped forward. At the Bromwich factory (one of the largest aircraft manufacturing bases at the time), a group of female workers were hand-sewing a rudder-lowering cloth and, after sewing, painted on the top of the cloth. With their dexterous hands, they propped up the production line of fighter jets. (Figure 8)
