People familiar with the matter insist that the dress was already showing signs of wear before Ripley bought it, as they noticed that Kim had been wearing the dress for less than 15 minutes while walking the red carpet.
The 60-year-old dress has been stored in a temperature-controlled environment since it was purchased in 2016 for a staggering $5 million.
