Three big things. U.S. Secretary of State: "The United States seeks to build an imperfect but free order." Chinese spokesperson: "Do you mean that the US side can attack and smear other countries without a bottom line, while other countries can only wait to be slaughtered"? South America is about to usher in the "center-left era", blinken is not in a hurry to look back?

On June 2, the Chinese Foreign Ministry replied to Blinken's recent speech, sharply clarifying the essence. At the same time, the three major events that have recently occurred in South America are based on reality, puncturing the dream of the United States to build a "family law and regulation".

The first big thing, America's most loyal subordinates in South America, was hit by a wave of left-wing governance. The first vote in Colombia's general election ended on May 29, with partisan leftist candidate Petro and independent candidate Hernandez moving into the second round. Among them, Petro's approval rating in the primary is more than 40%, while Hernand has only 28%.

With such a disparity in the proportion of primary elections, the left-wing candidate Petro has a very large winning side. In recent years, the incompetence of the right-wing government has led to growing discontent among Colombians, which has been the biggest motivator for Petro's progress. In the 2018 election, Petro was already in second place. Now, four years later, the dissatisfaction rate of Colombia's right-wing authorities has reached a staggering 85 per cent.

Of the two candidates who entered the general election, the highest support was on the left, the other was independent, and Colombia's center-left politicization trend was gradually clear. Over the past few years, Colombia has also actively cooperated with the United States and Venezuela's Guaido, which will become less and less in the future. The absence of America's most loyal little brother is undoubtedly a major strategic failure.

The second big thing is that many American countries have refused to participate in the Summit of the Americas, an important regional conference led by the United States that is close to difficult birth. The summit will officially open on June 6, but the list of invitees has not yet come out (many Countries in the Americas have refused to participate), and the Biden administration is anxious.

This kind of embarrassment is exactly what the United States has asked for itself, and it is the "blessing" that the United States wants to implement "family rules and help rules." The U.S. government said in April that it might not invite Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, and that countries such as Mexico, Honduras and Bolivia immediately expressed a boycott of the Summit of the Americas.

Now that it is June, the meeting will officially begin in 2 or 3 days. The United States has not yet considered whether to invite Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua, and it is not clear whether Mexico and Honduras will really refuse. Now there is not even an invitation list (the United States is afraid of rejection, so it has been dragging this list and making a shrunken-headed turtle).

The third big thing, "America of the Americas of the Americas", is being hit, and center-left American politicians are actively engaging with Europe and gaining momentum. Lula is a case in point, the former president who made Brazil a BRICS country is actively participating in this year's election, and his approval rating is very high, and the hope of victory is great.

It is particularly noteworthy that Lula made high-profile visits to European countries (the President of France, the Chancellor of Germany and the Prime Minister of Spain) before entering the general election in 2022. America's politicians are becoming more and more closely linked to Europe, and it is more difficult for the United States to control the Americas.

Blinken's vision is imaginative, but the reality is very sober.
