The reporter's handwriting | Spring is gone, and Wuye wakes up

The breeze is clear and the world is noisy. This spring in the complexity, in people's infinite yearning, the figure will gradually disappear into the green verdant, the footsteps of summer are approaching. At the turn of the seasons, I always record some encounters along the way, which may also be a habit of forcing myself to get out of prejudice and narrow-mindedness and extend the boundaries of cognition. This spring, although full of regrets, but also a lot of gains. Interview with Academician Qian Xuhong, president of East China Normal University, may be the biggest harvest this spring.

Interviewing President Qian is the most intimate of the many academicians and experts I have interviewed, perhaps this kind of kindness comes from the teenagers who grew up on the shores of Hongze Lake, and our familiarity with that land is a long-lost childhood time. It is this kind of nostalgia that makes the interview more of a learning and consulting, but also a kind of cross-field exchange, and many unanswered questions seem to have found answers in this interview.

Principal Qian is humorous, wise, and elegant, both clear when the water is still, and agitated when the water is moving. Before writing the interview, I flipped through his book "Changing Minds." It is said that it is read because it has not been able to read the whole book word by word, but many chapters have been carefully read, and some have read it more than once.

Reading his words will have a youthful spirit to hit the heart, both accessible and sharp, the content is broad and needless to say, some of the content is intriguing, although it is traditional, it gives people the feeling of standing at the forefront and watching the changes. The continuous flow of time across the past and the present, across east and west, makes people contemplative, and those unique and spicy criticism and constructive methods often spread on paper.

In the interview, President Qian talked about the subtlety of Lao Tzu's thought, and also talked about the significance of quantum theory, and combined Lao Tzu's thought with quantum theory to see and understand the changes in the world, so that people can feel the profundity and tension of the scientists who stand at the forefront and explore the origin of the development of things. I think that when one can carry one's deepest thoughts, one's mind carries light, making one transparent, free and sober. Principal Qian is like this.

It can be said that every interviewee is my teacher and brings new thinking to himself. The professional attributes of journalists allow us to switch walks in different fields, but this kind of walking is only a little bit of water, so when encountering a mountain that must be crossed, those experiences and challenges will eventually precipitate in the depths of the heart, helping to establish a new way of thinking that tends to be more rational and not turbulent.

In my many years as a journalist, there are three interviews that have been extremely challenging and rewarding for me. The first is an interview with Academician Wei Yu on educational neuroscience. Academician Wei Yu is immersed in the practice of education to promote the development of educational neuroscience in China, and the seeds she sowed have now become a burning trend. At that time, I didn't understand brain science, I had never heard many of the terms of brain science, and I could be described as confused in interviews, and I couldn't even figure out whether synapses or synapses, let alone the connection between brain science and education. After that, without him, it is forced to study and learn again. This interview was later washed countless times, "education is essentially to build the human brain" has widely influenced the education community, and has also achieved four or even countless sessions of the "Brain Science and Education Forum", which has greatly promoted the widespread popularization of brain science in the field of education.

The second article is an interview with Academician Yang Xiongli on the "Chinese Brain Plan". Mr. Yang is the main promoter of the "Chinese Brain Project", his interview has a wealth of philosophical views, many classic expositions of Marx and Engels can be blurted out, and the whole interview is full of challenges. In addition, Mr. Yang's writing is excellent, and his articles are also good among the academicians, which is a mountain that reporters must climb. Happily, he later praised my prose on many occasions for being well written. The one that I remember most is Mr. Yang's office, which is actually more like a study, and our interviews were conducted in the book pile. Mr. Yang has his own dialectical thinking on the relationship between brain science and education, and he has made great support for promoting brain science popularization in the field of education.

The third part may be an interview with Principal Qian Xuhong, because he opened another window for me to look at education, and at the same time extended my cognitive space. He talked about the current traditional, limited and fixed way of thinking is difficult to adapt to the development challenges of future society, and it is necessary to cultivate students' quantum thinking with spontaneous initiative. People have the characteristics of quantum thinking: unpredictable, superimposed, entangled, jumping words and deeds, emotions and thinking states. The main embodiment of quantum theory is the wave-particle duality, people also have wave-particle duality performance, and the wave-particle duality of people is typically manifested in the unpredictable nature of human psychology and the "irrationality" of words and deeds... Today's quantum pedagogy needs to emerge. He is vigorously promoting the innovation of talent training methods at East China Normal University, and many reforms of the school are also underway.

"Quantum pedagogy" gives rise to infinite longing, and with this proposition, I find that my imagination still has boundaries. But I am clear, as President Qian said, good educational practice does not jump out of the wisdom of the ancients to "teach according to aptitude, teach without class". Good education is to do a good job of the harmonious balance between "purposefulness" and "instrumentality", just like "wave-particle duality", let people in the countryside to see the cooking smoke rise and grow leisurely, soberly self-sustaining in the complexity of information, and relate to the entire rushing era in the fragments of knowledge; good education does not forget the history, nor loses the present, nor doubts the future; good education is a process that constantly allows people to get out of the comfort zone to resist entropy increase, and can help people master multiple thinking modes, so that life entropy is reduced and grown.

President Qian's interview made me realize that all theories of mankind are not set in stone, and we can see that civilizations that have come from history have always developed in evolution, the world has also been created in growth, science has made great progress in continuous exploration and questioning, and society has solved one problem after another in development. Although it is difficult for humans to cross mountains and rivers, they will see people who have opened up roads in thorns, and they will also have the interest to look down at the wildflowers at their feet. Turning over history, I found that many great scientists and thinkers stood at the height of mankind and rooted in the soil of practice. Scientists let us see different landscapes in each field of research, and together they have achieved the cognitive boundaries of mankind.

Every interview makes me realize the need to understand the world and the land beneath my feet with a broader perspective. I'll find a relatively quiet place after the interview to re-purge myself to see if I'm still stuck where I can see. I will always deny myself at this time period, and then re-establish the connection on the basis of the negation, and the new connection allows me to examine myself from a wider field. Then, with hindsight, I found that my cognitive "volume" was so narrow.

The ripple effect of interviews is sometimes unexpected, the sense of oppression that must be learned will often affect yourself, if you are at home on weekends and holidays, do not write something or do not read some words, you will feel sorry for your profession, you will feel that you are eliminated by this society that travels thousands of miles a day, and you will feel that this era of being gathered by different characters and ideas can flood your figure at any time.

In the depths of spring, spring is unknown. In an era of great change, I feel more or less overwhelmed before the tide. Therefore, through one interview after another, I can see that scientists often look for the future in the examination of history, but their steps are never separated from the actual soil. I think this is the most valuable exploration of human beings to get rid of loneliness in the invisible and tangible web.

Therefore, I wrote in President Qian's interview that when I look back at history, history will give the looking back a response and strength; when looking into the future, the sea of stars will flicker, and everything can be expected. Human beings continue to explore in the trek through the mountains and waters, and constantly awaken in the education of themselves and others, and the flame of civilization can be endless. Because there are countless scientists who strive to discern the origin of the world, along with the cognitive boundaries that have grown up with their thoughts and practices, with the passage of time, the boundaries continue to extend, presenting a beautiful picture of infinite possibilities. It is these growing thoughts and creations that have made people's current state of life, and this vast contemplation that crosses time and space to connect has grown new shoots in the gap of the blank, thus giving birth to many innovations, and the power of change has naturally arisen.

Of course, as a recorder, I do not deny the efforts of every living individual, and every "me" is worthy of respect. Once read at the beginning of a book that each of us is influencing the course of history in some way. This book is the history of the development of science and technology. These words were like a beam of light passing through me, and then the clarity that broke through the fog.

Throughout history, every living individual is tiny, but when we cut through an era, especially in the era of great change, everyone seems to be the subject and force of change. So many great changes did not come from the hands of the great people we thought they were, as we imagined, but often from the hands of ordinary people. Innovation is eclectic, and under the most accidental opportunities, the impact also changes human activities. As a result, later on, we saw the tall backs shining in each era.

Perhaps, not being arrogant is the best respect for ourselves and the times. Please believe that everyone can leave a mark on history, and everyone has contributed to the development of history.

So, the methodology of scientists teaches us that there is no need to panic, and the problem will be solved in practice.

You see, spring is gone, and the sycamore wakes up.
