Beijing News (reporter Wu Longzhen) on December 26, local time, actor Sue Lyon died at the age of 73. She is best known for playing the role of Lolita in Stanley Kubrick's 1962 adaptation of Nabokov's Lolita. Her physical condition had reportedly deteriorated before her death, but the report did not say the cause of death.

Born in Davenport, Iowa in 1946, Lane is a model. She is said to have beaten 800 actors to star in Lolita when she was 14 years old. For this film, she won the Best Female Newcomer Award in the Film Category at the 20th Golden Globe Awards in 1963. She had five marriages in her life, and in one of them, she ended her acting career.
