Enemy expands the lineup

1905 Film Network News The film "Foe", directed by Garth Davis, director of "The Lion" and "Mary of Magdalene", recently confirmed the joining of several actors. It is understood that Silsa Ronan, Lekes Steinfeld and Paul Masca will join the crew.

Based on Ian Reed's novel of the same name, the film takes place in the near future, where corporate power and environmental decay are ravaging the planet. Junier (Masca) and Hen (Ronan) are a young couple who have been married for seven years and live alone on their isolated farm. One night, a stranger named Terrance knocked on their door, bringing news that plunged their lives into chaos. Junier was randomly selected to head to a large experimental space station orbiting Earth. The most unusual thing was that everything was made after Junier left. Hen didn't get a chance to miss him because she didn't have a single second of solitude. Heng will have familiar companions, prompting her to make life-changing decisions.

Judging from the storyline, this will be an ethical film with a science fiction nature. And this story mode is similar to Ian Reed's last adapted novel, I Want to End It All. The film's director, Garth Davis, is from Australia, and in 2013, co-directed the TV series "Top of the Mystery Lake Season 1" with Jane Campion. In 2016, he directed the feature film The Lion, for which he won the Best Director Award at the 7th Australian Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards. In 2018, the biographical film "Mary Magdalene" directed by him was released. In addition to this film, Gas Davis also has "Tron: War Chronicles 3" in his hands that has not yet been filmed. At present, there is no specific shooting and release arrangement for the film.
