Wang Zhanlun, born in 1930 in Pei County, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Qufu Normal School in 1952, is a member of the China Artists Association, and a national senior arts and crafts artist. He has successively taught at Juxian Dadian Normal School and Linshu No.1 Secondary School. In 1979, he was transferred to Linyi Foreign Trade Handicrafts Import and Export Company, specializing in the production and design of special arts. In the 1990s, he designed and developed painting crafts and car wood toys. The statue has a 16-meter-tall Buddha statue and a 5-meter-high statue of a group of workers, peasants, and soldiers.
