According to reports, the Shougang Ski Jump is located in the north area of Shougang Old Industrial Park, and the site is distributed from north to south of the original Shougang power generation main plant, cooling tower and the original Shougang oxygen plant. Zhang Shunjie also proposed that at the beginning of the design of the Shougang Ski Jump, the value of the industrial remains of the old plant was fully taken into account, the original industrial plant was transformed and reused, and carefully built into a supporting service facility for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, realizing the effective transformation and perfect combination of industrial heritage and the Winter Olympic games. For example, the cooling pump station of the original old factory area has been transformed into a ticket inspection hall and event management office area, and after the game, it will also be transformed into a multi-functional complex to provide supporting service functions for the future Shougang Ski Jumping Sports Park.
