The harems of successive emperors of the Qing Dynasty have some fierce roles, such as the Concubine Xi of the Yongzheng Harem, that is, the historical prototype of Zhen Huan, who was originally just an inconspicuous lady next to Yongzheng, but had the privilege of climbing on the dragon bed and giving birth to the Great Qing Tianzi and becoming the Empress Dowager.
Coincidentally, there are also some powerful figures in the Qianlong harem, such as The Noble Concubine of Emperor Lingyi, that is, Empress Xiaoyichun, but the most ruthless one is estimated that everyone cannot imagine that she is Xiangfei, that is, Rong Concubine of the Qianlong Harem.
1. A second-married woman
Princess Rong and Zhuo were the daughters of a nobleman from the Hui dynasty, whose real name was Batma, and their father was the 29th Hui Dynasty Taiji Ali and Zhuo.
It is said that this and Zhuo Clan were born with a national color and heavenly fragrance, their appearance is amazing to the world, and the most important thing is that they have a different fragrance and a refreshing spleen, and they have long been a well-known woman in Huibu. In her teenage years, her father Ali and Zhuo married her to Huo Jizhan, the son of the feudal lord Mahamut, that is, Xiaohe Zhuo, and became the princess of Xiaohe Zhuo.
In the twentieth year of Qianlong, the Qing court sent troops into Ili, and by the way rescued two sons of Mahanmut, Xiao And Zhuo, who knows, two years later, this big and small brothers beat a rake and killed the deputy governor sent by the Qing court, Amin Dao, and then raised the banner of rebellion.
He Zhuo's mother's family opposed the rebellion of The Great and The Zhuo clan, so Xiao He Zhuo gave up the He Zhuo clan and became a widow with the Zhuo clan.
In the twenty-fourth year of Qianlong, the Qing court sent troops to quell the rebellion of Dahe Zhuo, and Zhuo's brother Tur was summoned by Qianlong to join the Beijing Division and accept the gift of the imperial court for his meritorious service in the battle. Therefore, he and Zhuo Shi came to the bustling city of Beijing with their brother.
In order to win over the upper nobles of the Hui ministry, Qianlong decided to carry out a political marriage and ordered that Turdu's sister and Zhuo be elected to the palace. He Zhuo was already a 27-year-old elderly woman at the time, but she still looked beautiful like a flower, which made Qianlong simply intoxicated, and qianlong was of course very happy to be able to summon her to the harem.
2. The favorite concubine of the Qianlong harem
In February of the 25th year of Qianlong, he Zhuo was elected to the harem, and initially Qianlong arranged for him to study the rules with Empress Nala (and later). However, the trip to learn the rules with Zhuo Shi was obviously not very pleasant, which led to a bond between her and the empress.
After learning the rules, Qianlong ordered that he Zhuo be made a nobleman. In some film and television dramas, it is usually shown that the empress dowager does not like this Huibu woman very much, but in fact, the empress dowager Chongqing is very fond of this foreign woman.
It is said that on the day he entered the palace with Zhuo, the lychee trees that came from the south in the palace actually bore fruit, which made Qianlong very happy, thinking that this was a kind of auspicious rui, and when he was happy, he was even more fond of the Hezhuo clan, not only specially invited her to be a huibu cook, but also allowed the Zhuo clan to wear their own costumes in the palace, and only three years later, the Hezhuo clan was promoted to rong concubine.
At the beginning of the 30th year of Qianlong, a major incident occurred in the harem, that is, the case of the empress losing Dongzhu.
According to the records of foreign emissaries, at that time, Hui Hou (i.e., He Zhuo) accused Qianlong of stealing Dongzhu and found relevant letters in the homes of the guards who were in contact with the empress, but for some reason, the case was not made public, and the guard was executed without interrogation.
This incident obviously reflects the struggle between the Zhuo clan and the empress Nala clan, as a favored concubine, the Zhuo clan did not fall behind in the face of the empress who had lost the imperial favor, which was enough to see the status of the Zhuo clan in Qianlong's heart. Also, I don't know if this incident is related to the subsequent haircut incident of the southern tour.
3. The adoptive mother of the Tenth Princess
Thirty-three years after Qianlong, two years had passed since Nala's death from illness in the Cold Palace, and in this year, he Zhuo was promoted to concubine Rong and became one of the top lords.
Moreover, with the departure of several high-ranking concubines such as Concubine Yu, Concubine Qinggui and Concubine Lingyi, the weight of the Zhuo clan in the Qianlong harem was once again increased, and by the forty-sixth year of Qianlong's family banquet, the Zhuo clan had already achieved the seat of the first-class table in the west. Moreover, there was a princess sitting next to this favored concubine, and she was Qianlong's favorite tenth princess, Gu Lun and Princess Xiao.
Gu Lun and Princess Xiao were the daughters of Qianlong's favorite concubine in his later years, and Concubine Rong abused the palace maid and beat one of the palace women to death, so Qianlong ordered that the tenth princess be handed over to Rong Fei to raise, and in this way, Rong Fei became the adoptive mother of the tenth princess.
Concubine Rong treated this princess like her own child, and many of the good things that the emperor rewarded were given to this princess.
On April 19, 53, Qianlong, Concubine Rong and Zhuo died of illness in the harem at the age of 54, and it is said that before their death, Most of the treasures rewarded by the emperor and Zhuo shi were given to the tenth princess as a dowry, which shows that Rong Fei treated this princess very well.
After Princess Rong died, Qianlong ordered her to be buried in the Yuling Concubine Garden. In 1979, the Qing Dongling Cultural Relics Depository cleaned up Rongfei's underground palace and found rongfei's remains, and after restoration, it was learned that this foreign concubine was indeed a great beauty with a national color and heavenly fragrance, with a height of about 167 centimeters.
