Although the military service of my life is only a short three years, it is indeed a very meaningful three years of my life to defend the motherland, serve the motherland, and protect the peace of the people!

I remember that during the Spring Festival at that time, it was the ninth class of the third company of recruits to train the common courses of the whole army. I remember that at that time, the new comrades of our new recruit company also arranged a dialogue program that knocked on the allegro, and the program of the New Year gala choreographed by other companies in the regiment was also rehearsed in an intense and orderly manner. At this time, the old taste of the military camp training life that also made me feel nervous was also quietly walking towards the green barracks. On the twenty-eighth and ninth days of the year, it snowed heavily in Wuxi, where my troops were stationed, and the area inside and outside the barracks, and the Jilong Mountain not far from the camp was a white expanse. After dinner in the evening, only an urgent gathering whistle was heard, and the company duty officer squad shouted loudly, tonight to the division headquarters to participate in the Spring Festival Gala, and the recruit squads quickly gathered in front of the barracks! In less than ten minutes, our entire three companies of recruits were assembled, and the company commander of the new recruit company put forward the disciplinary requirements for watching the Spring Festival Gala in front of the line, first, because the distance to the plum garden of the division headquarters was a bit far, and the sky was snowing, everyone should pay attention to safety! Each recruit and soldier should follow the line closely when marching, do not fall behind, and the second is to go to the venue, asking to pay attention to the image, standing like a loose, sitting like a bell. Third, when singing, singing should be loud and applause should also ring out! We must fully embody the good image of our recruits in the three companies. Subsequently, under the leadership of the new company commander and instructor, they walked all the way out of the gate of the regimental headquarters and sent troops to the Plum Garden Division. I remember that when night fell, the dark sky was covered with snowflakes, and I and my new comrades and comrades were very excited because it was the first time to participate in such a recreational activity! Morale was high all the way, and under the leadership of the company duty officer, we shouted trumpets, and the team marched along the sidewalk of the road in two columns, and the three new recruit companies of our regiment marched all the way singing military songs. I clearly remember that we sang a song "We are soldiers", we are soldiers, we are soldiers

We marched for about half an hour before we reached the Meiyuan Divisional Headquarters Auditorium, and when we arrived at the Great Hall, the new recruits of the Division headquarters and the recruits of the 201st Regiment were sitting and waiting for the arrival of the recruits of our Sixteenth Regiment. After we were seated, the division headquarters asked the new battalions of several units of mine to conduct a song competition, and after half an hour of song competition, our sixteenth recruit battalion won the first place in the song competition. The commander of the division immediately praised him, saying that the quality of the recruits of the Sixteenth Regiment was different! It is hoped that the soldiers of the New Battalion of the Sixteenth Regiment will continue to carry forward the excellent fighting style of the Sixteenth Regiment. Then, everyone was asked to sit quietly, not to make noise, and to watch the Spring Festival Gala program. I remember that the program was colorful, there was a singing program, there was a dance danced by literary and artistic female soldiers. Allegro rap, as well as military sisters-in-law also came to the stage to sing "Sister-in-law" and "Happy Hometown" these two songs, singing very touching, our old Ninth Company veterans on the stage to sing is a popular Taiwanese singer Zheng Zhihua sang "Sailor" is also very good. In the new company, it was the first time that I personally felt the richness and variety of military culture, which increased my insight and made me deeply realize that the army is a real melting pot of revolution. The Spring Festival Gala organized and watched by the division headquarters made me more firm in my ideological understanding of being a good soldier in the army and improving my cultural attainment.

The day after watching the Spring Festival Gala, it was the Chinese New Year's Eve of 1996, and the troops had newly sorted out their personal housekeeping after the morning exercises, and the company commander asked that the green military uniforms worn by our recruit company be washed well as training uniforms! Greeting the arrival of the new year with a new military appearance, when it was time to eat Chinese New Year's Eve meal, a song before the meal, I remember that the new squad leader commanded and sang a song "Speak from the Heart" The Chinese New Year's Eve meal of the troops is still relatively rich, and the troops are not allowed to drink alcohol, only Sprite drinks. Of course, the food conditions of the troops at that time could not be compared with the food standards of the troops now. After dinner, the company commander organized a news broadcast at seven o'clock, and after watching it, he organized a karaoke singing activity, and I remember that one of my comrades-in-arms in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, sang Cantonese very well, and he became the Mai Ba of our recruits' third company. Jacky Cheung and Andy Lau sang the songs almost all the way! Recruits and comrades from other places can't sing Cantonese songs, so it's only natural for him to charter!

The first year I spent in the army was also a Spring Festival that I was particularly homesick about in my life! To tell you the truth, the old mother at home is already full of white hair, and I am not stupid to say from the heart
