The 2015 Oscar officially announced the nomination list, if you are familiar with the entire awards season, in fact, this year's Oscar nomination list is basically in line with the popularity of the awards season. Previous hit films and actors have been nominated. However, there are also a few awards that have a little upset, some are surprised, some are happy. (The bottom also shared an article to declassify the Oscar nomination rules, from the fan network, interested can see)
In terms of best picture, a total of eight films were nominated. Still have to explain, today's Oscar best picture, the quota is 5-10, random numbers, just look at the good movie situation of the year. So, this year it's eight. "American Sniper" successfully squeezed into the list, including the male protagonist and several other awards also have it, in addition to the film itself, must admit the college's love for East Wood. Several other Best Picture nominations were roughly as expected. The only regret is that "The Disappearing Lover" did not get the best picture nomination, of course, this time, in addition to the heroine, "The Disappearing Lover" disappeared all the other awards.
Actors: The male protagonist's four hits are all in, the only one who was squeezed out was the equally acclaimed Jack Gyllenhaal, who was replaced by Bradley Cooper of "American Sniper".
The heroine also has a fall behind, that is, Jennifer Aniston of "Cake", and French actress Marion Cotillard commented on the strong insertion of "Two Days and One Night".
The supporting actors and actresses are almost in line with expectations, the only thing to note is that this is already Meryl Streep's 19th Oscar nomination.
There was an accident in the animation film, that is, the "Lego Movie" with good box office and word of mouth disappeared, and many media thought that this film would be the number one hit of this year's animated feature films. This time it will be a scuffle. It feels like anyone can.
The foreign-language film was basically in line with expectations, but the well-received Swedish film "Tourist" was a bit of a surprise.
Hu Wei's "Butter Lamp" was nominated for Best Live-Action Short Film, so this year's Oscars still have Chinese things. This short film has won a short film award in the Golden Horse.
Finally, this is the 12th oscar nomination of the master photographer Roger Deakins (Shawshank Redemption, The Three Kings of Prison Escape, Ice Storm, Absent Man, Earth Thunder, etc.), and it is likely to continue to lose.

How many votes do I need to get an Oscar nomination? The answer is: not as much as you think.
Voting for this year's Oscar nominations began on December 29, opening a digital contest for this year's films, which is related to whether various films can get the long-coveted nomination quota.
This year, 6,124 members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will vote. Of course, this does not mean that more than six thousand votes are required to be nominated. In fact, in the case of the Award for Best Picture, a nomination with just under 600 votes in the first round and a slightly more than 300 votes in the second round locks in the nomination.
The college's current voting method is to choose the voting system. Ballots will be counted separately according to the voter's first choice. Usually, the vote count considers only the first option. But since many awards are voted for several rounds, when the voter's first choice is out, their second and third choices will count toward the vote count.
Best Picture is counted slightly differently, with only two rounds of counting. As a result, films that receive more than 5% of the votes in the second phase can be nominated.
It is precisely because of this selective voting system, coupled with the small number of members of the various branches of the academy, that the number of votes required to obtain the nomination is not as much as you think. For example, of the 24 awards, only five of the best picture and four actor awards need to be nominated for more than 100 votes.
The rest of the awards usually require only thirty or forty votes. The nomination for Best Costume Design only needs to receive 19 votes from 113 members of the Jury of the Costume Design Branch. This branch is the most "pocket-sized" of the branches that voted for the award. (The recently formed Casting Directors branch has only 76 members, but the Oscars don't have such awards.) )
The basic way to calculate each award is to divide the total number of votes for the award by the number of nominations plus one (usually 5+1, i.e. divided by 6), and then round up the calculation result. This integer is the minimum number of votes required to obtain a nomination.
The following is how the voting for nominations for each Oscar this year is calculated.
Best Picture
If all 6124 members of the Academy participate in the voting, films that receive more than 557 votes in the first round can be nominated directly. Next up will be a margin voting system, where those films with a much higher than 557 votes in the first round will be re-allocated proportionally, and those whose first choice receives less than 62 votes will also count in the votes according to their second (or third) choice.
At the end of the second round of vote counting, films with more than 307 votes can be nominated for Best Picture.
Best Director
Voted by 269 directors branch jury members, 45 votes will lock in the nomination.
Best Actor/Actress/Supporting Actor/Supporting Actress Award
The Cast Branch Jury is arguably the most "large" branch of the Academy, with a total of 1,150 members. If all the people participate in the voting, they will be nominated for the Actor Award with 192 votes.
Best Animated Feature
The number of nominations for the award is not so simple to calculate, it is selected by some members of the Animated Feature Film Award Screening Committees. The selection committee is composed mainly of members of the jury of the short film and animated feature films branch plus members of the jury of other branches. Committee members must watch 65% of the candidate films. This year, for example, they need to watch at least thirteen of the twenty candidate films and rate the films they watch (6-10 points). The five animated feature films with the highest average scores were nominated (usually requiring at least 7.5 points).
Best Cinematography
The 226 members of the Photography Branch Jury will vote and 38 votes will be nominated.
The Costume Design Branch Jury, which has been independent from the Art Direction Branch in recent years, has 113 members. So, getting at least 19 votes can be nominated.
Best Art Direction
The jury has a total of 269 members, and the film needs to receive at least 45 votes.
Best Documentary Feature
The first round of voting selected 15 of the 134 shortlisted films to advance to the second round. The second round of voting selected the last 5 nominated films from these 15 films. If all participants vote, the nomination will require at least 37 votes in the second round.
Unlike documentary feature films, nominations for documentary films are decided by a selection committee composed of members of the documentary sub-jury. The committee first selects the shortlisted short films to 8, and then selects the final 3-5 nominated short films through a scoring system.
Best Clip
236 members of the jury vote, and more than 40 votes can be nominated.
Best Foreign Language Film
The award also does not have a corresponding branch jury, but a committee composed of members of the college's branch jury conducts the first round of nomination screening. The committee will screen out nine films for the second round.
In the weekend leading up to the Announcement of the Oscar nominations, 10 members of the committee and 30 members of the Academy from Los Angeles, New York and London will watch all nine films and vote for the last five nominations.
Best makeup
First, representatives of the makeup branch jury (at least 15 people) will discuss the 7 films that have decided to enter the second round of screening. In the second screening round on January 10, 10-minute clips of the seven films will be screened, and three films will be selected by members of the sub-jury who have seen all seven films, in order. Members who have seen all 7 films but are unable to attend the vote can also vote. If all 135 members are eligible and vote, the number of votes required to obtain the nominated seat is 34.
Best Soundtrack/Best Original Song
The music branch jury has a total of 244 members and receives 41 votes to be nominated for both awards.
Best Live-Action Short/Best Animated Short Film
Some members of the Short Film and Animation Branch Jury first select 10 films from the shortlisted films for both awards, and then members who have seen all the candidate films score (6-10 points). The 5 films with the highest scores and scores above 7.5 will be nominated. If there are fewer than 5 films above 7.5, only 3 films can be nominated for these two awards.
Best Acoustics/Best Sound Clips
The Sound Sub-Jury is the second largest jury to have an Academy Award, with 428 members. Although the Executive Branch and the FilmMaking Branch are larger, with 457 and 485 members each, they are only nominated for Best Picture. The number of votes required to receive nominations for both sound awards is 72 votes.
The Executive Committee of the Visual Effects Branch Jury selected 10 films from the shortlisted films. There will be a polling session on 10 January. All members of the branch jury can attend this voting meeting. A 10-minute clip of the 10 films will be played, and then members of the branch jury will discuss with the film's visual effects manager. Finally, members will vote according to the opt-in voting system. If each member attends the ballot, a minimum of 57 votes is required to be nominated.
Best Original Screenplay/Best Adapted Screenplay
The screenwriting branch has a total of 386 members and the required number of votes is 65 votes.
