China's criminal law stipulates that a person under the age of 14 does not need to bear criminal responsibility for committing a crime, and a person who has reached the age of 14 but is not yet 18 years old shall be given a mitigated or mitigated punishment if he commits a crime.
So most of them are not only not sentenced and imprisoned, but can continue their lives in another place, and for them, the cost of crime is basically zero.

Why?
First, those children who sin may be even more evil and terrible than we think.

This is what we call "children", and many of them are not impulsive but premeditated when they commit crimes.
They know how to use their childhood to win sympathy, and they know how to exploit loopholes in the law, even better than adults.
Laws that were originally used to protect children have become "umbrellas" for their crimes.
But if we easily forgive these demons, will they know the lesson and become human again?

Our tolerance for some juvenile offenders may have become connivance.

How do you get these children to feel awe, so that they have empathy and don't hurt others?
Only by letting them know what a terrible price they will pay, only by letting them encounter the severe punishment of the law or tasting the taste of persecution themselves, can they throw a rat trap and stop it in time.
There is a program in the United States dedicated to the reform of troubled teenagers. These children are young, but they have already been convicted, arson, fights, gangsters, drugs...
