On January 22, 2022, Antarctic Bear learned that the domestic 3D printer manufacturer Eplus3D announced the launch of the latest metal powder bed melting 3D printer EP-M450H in foreign markets.
This large-size 3D printer has a build volume of 455x 455 x 1100 mm. The EP-M450H offers a build volume of over 200 liters, making it ideal for 3D printing parts with a height of more than one meter.
Eplus3D's new machines are specifically designed for large, high-performance parts in industries such as aerospace, defense and automotive.

EP-M450H 3D printer
EasyGas 3D's new EP-M450H3D printer is determined by its size and productivity. As standard, the system is equipped with a 500W fiber laser, but customers can opt for a dual laser configuration that increases printing efficiency by 70%. With a scanning speed of up to 8 m/s, the dual laser EP-M450H can reach a maximum build rate of 65 cm3/h. The machine is even equipped with a two-way powder recoating system to reduce the time between layers.
Easy-Plus 3D will also focus primarily on the quality of parts from its latest 3D printers, with metal prints > density > 99.9%. The EP-M450H has an optimized wind farm design that ensures the effective elimination of smoke and splashes while helping to achieve uniform and consistent 3D printing.
On the software side, the printer allows the user to apply different process parameters to different parts of the model. For example, a part can be divided into upper and lower surfaces, or core areas and small areas, each of which can be personalized. The system is also complemented by Easy-3D's own patented EP-Hatch machining software, which enables users to take advantage of optimized scanning strategies to cut print time.
