Sky Sports: Bailey is interested in joining Milan, but United won't be lending him out in the winter window

According to Sky TV Italia, Bailey is interested in a move to Milan, but it is understood that Manchester United winter window does not plan to loan any players.

Milan are looking for a centre-back and Bailey is currently representing Côte d'Ivoire at the Africa Cup of Nations. He has made seven appearances for United this season, three of which were made under Ronnick. The 27-year-old renewed his contract with Manchester United last year, with his contract expiring in 2024.

Sky Sports understands that before the renewal, Bailey had worried that United had renewed his contract with him in order to get a higher transfer fee when transferring. Bailly joined Manchester United in 2016 from La Liga side Villarreal but has been suffering from injuries. He has missed more than 90 games with injuries at Manchester United and has only made more than 20 appearances for United in a single season.

In an interview with Sky Sports last year, Bailey said: "I want to do more for the club, you know, because in my difficult times the club helped me in everything and I'm proud of what the club has done. "Bailey, led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, mainly as a substitute for Maguire and Lindelof.
