Location: Former Qingshou Temple, Telegraph Building, Xicheng District.
Background: The twin towers of Qingshou Temple were built in the Yuan Dynasty, and in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, they were demolished due to the widening of Chang'an Avenue, and Buddha statues and stone tablets were found in the underground palace at the bottom of the tower.

Legend has it that the owner of the pagoda was a monk named Haiyun, who is less well known as a ashes-level nail householder.
In 1267, during the construction of the Yuan capital, the southern wall passed through the tower of Master Haiyun.
Then, after the news reached Kublai Khan, Kublai Khan gave the order, calling for thirty steps away and ringing it, leaving it thirty steps and surrounding it, so it formed an arc-shaped wall.

Until the early days of liberation, an extremely realistic Buddha statue was found at the bottom of the qingshou temple, and experts deciphered a stone stele that revealed the life of Haiyun Zen master unearthed together.
The imperial court ordered him to take charge of Buddhism in the world, which is actually equivalent to the current position of president of the Buddhist Association of China, which used to be called monasticism.
This Haiyun Zen master was born to be a monk, entered buddhism at the age of seven, and became a little star in the Buddhist world at the age of eight or nine.
He actually began to lecture at the age of thirteen, and in addition to being a monk, he also did two part-time jobs in his life.
Once, he became a career planner, persuaded Kublai Khan to promote Han law, and determined the status of the Yuan Dynasty in the Central Plains.
Another time, he did a headhunter and introduced his apprentice Liu Bingzhong to Kublai Khan.

It was Liu Bingzhong's motive for modifying the route of the city wall, so the Yuan Dynasty became what it is on today's map.
Although Kublai Khan and Liu Bingzhong failed to realize that ideal of perfect generosity, later generations described these two as Mingjun and Mingchen who respected the Buddhist Zhi'en Tutu.
