Xie Donghao, director of the Chinese Medicine Pharmacy and Preparation Room of Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, introduced that as far as traditional medicine is concerned, in modern society, Chinese medicine has retained eight commonly used dosage forms, including pills, powder, ointment, dan, soup, wine, dew, and ingots, while Guanghua Hospital's self-made guihong wind wine, wu zi dispel wind oral liquid, and wu zi qi wind tablets are all traditional medicine.
Guanghua snake preparation is a characteristic traditional Chinese medicine preparation of Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, which is used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases, and the representative preparation varieties include Guihong Wind Wine, Wu zi qi wind tablets, Wu Zi dispel wind oral liquid, etc.
"Guihong Wind Removal Wine" is made of traditional Chinese medicine wuzi snake, angelica, raw land, windproof, liquor, etc., with the effect of dispelling wind and dehumidification, relieving muscles and activating the network; "Wuzi dispelling wind tablets" is also made of wuzhi snake and excipient calcium carbonate, dextrin, sucrose, gelatin, magnesium stearate, with the effect of dispelling wind, tongluo, pain relief; "Wuzi dispelling wind oral liquid" is processed by wuzi snake, with the effect of dispelling wind and ventilation, dispelling wind and dehumidification, and is easy to take, easy to carry.
"There are many rheumatoid joint patients in our hospital, and long-term treatment experience has found that the treatment effect of simple Western medicine or traditional Chinese medicine is not good for the treatment of rheumatoid guan. Guanghua snake preparation originated from thousands of years of traditional Chinese medicine practice, its preparation process is unique to Shanghai Guanghua Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, which has been preserved in the development of Chinese medical institutions, and the variety of related preparations has a remarkable effect, which is an effective preparation for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. In 2019, Guanghua Hospital relied on the "Excellent PI Team Building Project" cooperated with Professor Xu Hongxi, Chief Professor of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine, to establish the "Joint Laboratory of School of Chinese Medicine of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Guanghua Hospital" to promote the research and development of snake preparations. In December 2020, the "Xie Donghao Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Expert Inheritance Studio" was established, aiming to inherit, protect and carry forward the Guanghua Snake preparation.
