What can you think of when you think of Los Angeles? Hollywood, the Walk of Fame, celebrities and luxury cars... That's right! Known as the "City of Angels," Los Angeles has always been a star city in the United States and one of the most expensive real estate markets in the world. Among them, Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Holmby Hills are known as the top rich districts of Los Angeles' "Platinum Triangle".
From Hollywood big names, to American sports stars, to well-known entrepreneurs, Los Angeles' mansions are home to a large number of rich people. And the hotel giant William Barron Hilton's mansion in Bel Air, the former chief executive of Hilton Hotels Group, was hailed as the "most expensive home" in Los Angeles this year for $61.5 million. According to the Los Angeles Times, it was the most expensive home transaction in Southern California this year, but the buyer's specific information was not made public.
Built in 1936 by renowned architect Paul Williams, this Georgian mansion is considered one of his most iconic works. The exterior of the main building is dominated by classic white, which looks retro and has a sense of history. Williams chose to build the fronts of several houses side by side, highlighting the symmetry and balance in the Georgian architectural style, forming a harmonious architectural pattern.

The manor covers an area of about 1 hectare and has 13 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms. On the first floor of the main building, there is a huge and simple staircase leading to the second floor, with crystal chandeliers, which is low-key luxury. The interior style is dominated by elegance and warmth. Crystal chandeliers, high ceilings and large bright floor-to-ceiling windows make the interior space open. The progressive living room and the main dining room are connected, which not only provides more light, but also allows for a wider view of the first floor of space.

The main dining room, with its long rounded tables, crystal chandeliers, mosaic vintage fireplace and log-polished floors, is formal but not serious, perfect for banquets and gatherings. In addition, the ground floor features a private kitchen, billiard room, study, terrace and outdoor dining area, with plenty of entertaining common spaces and a fully equipped infrastructure.
The courtyard behind the house leads to a huge lawn surrounded by lush gardening landscapes. One of the estate's most exquisite features is hidden deep in the gardens, where there is a bespoke private giant swimming pool inlaid with custom tiles in blue and gold, which are also printed with images of the 12 constellations.
Barron Hilton purchased the property in the 1960s and has lived there ever since until his death in September 2019. It can be said that he has a deep affection for this mansion. The late Barron Hilton was the second-generation "head" of Hilton Hotels Group, the leading group in the hospitality industry, and served as chairman, president and CEO of Hilton Universal Hotels Group.
