To realize the great dream, we must carry out a great struggle, build a great project, and promote the great cause

The one who walks a hundred miles is half ninety. The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is by no means something that can be achieved easily and easily by beating a gong and a drum, and we must be prepared to make more arduous and arduous efforts. General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out that to realize the great dream, we must carry out great struggles, build great projects, and promote great causes. Putting forward the great struggle, the great project, the great cause, and the great dream as a unified whole is a major theoretical innovation, embodies the high degree of unity of the goal of struggle, the path of realization, and the driving force for progress, embodies the high degree of unity of historical inheritance, realistic tasks, and future direction, embodies the high degree of unity of the future and destiny of the party, the future and destiny of the country, and the future and destiny of the nation, and enables our party to reach a new height in its understanding of the historical mission it is shouldering.

To realize great dreams, we must carry out great struggles. Society advances in a movement of contradictions, and where there are contradictions, there is struggle. In order to effectively cope with major challenges, resist major risks, overcome major obstacles, and resolve major contradictions, it is necessary to wage a great struggle with many new historical characteristics and prevent any thoughts and behaviors that covet enjoyment, passivity and slackness, and evade contradictions; we must more consciously uphold the party's leadership and China's socialist system, and resolutely oppose all words and deeds that weaken, distort, and negate the party's leadership and our country's socialist system; we must more consciously safeguard the people's interests and resolutely oppose all words and deeds that harm the people's interests. Separated from the behavior of the masses; we must more consciously plunge ourselves into the trend of the times of reform and innovation and resolutely eliminate all stubborn and chronic diseases; we must more consciously safeguard China's sovereignty, security, and development interests, and resolutely oppose all acts of splitting the motherland and undermining national unity and social harmony and stability; we must more consciously guard against all kinds of risks and resolutely overcome all difficulties and challenges that arise in the political, economic, cultural, social, and natural fields. We must fully understand the protracted, complex, and arduous nature of this great struggle, carry forward the spirit of struggle, enhance our ability to struggle, and constantly win new victories in the great struggle.

To realize great dreams, we must build great projects. Deeply advancing the new great project of party building is an inevitable requirement for maintaining the party's advanced nature and purity, for enhancing the party's ruling ability and level, and for ensuring the party's leadership over all work. History has proven, and will continue to prove, that without the leadership of the Communist Party of China, national rejuvenation is bound to be a fantasy. If our party must always become the vanguard of the times, the backbone of the nation, and the marxist ruling party, it must always be strong in itself. The whole party must more consciously strengthen the principle of party spirit, have the courage to face problems head-on, dare to scrape the bones and heal the poison, eliminate all factors that undermine the party's advanced nature and purity, eliminate all viruses that erode the party's healthy body, and constantly enhance the party's political leadership, ideological leadership, mass organization, and social appeal, so as to ensure that our party will always maintain its vigorous vitality and strong combat effectiveness.

To realize great dreams, we must promote great causes. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has been the theme of all the party's theories and practices since the beginning of reform and opening up, and is the fundamental achievement of the party and the people who have worked hard and paid a huge price. The path of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the only way to realize socialist modernization and create a better life for the people; the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the correct theory to guide the party and the people to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; the socialist system with Chinese characteristics is the fundamental institutional guarantee for the development and progress of contemporary China; and the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is a powerful spiritual force that encourages the whole party and the people of all nationalities in the country to forge ahead courageously. The whole party should more consciously enhance its self-confidence in the road, theory, system, and culture, maintain its political determination, persist in working hard to rejuvenate the country, and always uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Chinese people have made great strides to catch up with the trend of the times and written a magnificent chapter in the history of the development of the Chinese nation. General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed: "Realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is a glorious and arduous cause that requires the joint efforts of generations of Chinese.
