Obviously, these few praises are exaggerated, but at least it can show that Liu Bingzhong also had a preference for literature in his spare time. His collection of poems compiled by later generations is called "Liu Wenzhen Gongji" and the other is called "Tibetan Spring Collection", the latter of which was compiled by Ma Wei, the governor of Chuzhou, Zhejiang province, in the fifth year of the Shun Dynasty.

Why did Ma Wei collect Liu Bingzhong's works to publish them? In the "Afterword" of the book, he said: "Shou Ma Housheng is close to the gongxiang in chuzhou, and the cause of public merit has been spread for a long time, and the beauty of poetry, the world or the revelation, is compiled and compiled, and the engraving is widely spread." It seems that this was a momentary negligence on the part of Ma Wei, who mistakenly thought that he was from the same village as Liu Bingzhong, so he collected the works of this township sage and published them. This misunderstanding of Ma Wei, on the contrary, made Liu Bingzhong's writings more capable of being passed down to today. In the preface to the book, Ma praised Liu Bingzhong's poems: "Looking at his remains like poetry, he does not think that he is a worker, and he does not take risks to restore it." Majestic and straight, thick and peaceful, the sound of the golden stone, the light of binghu Kuibi, and the taste of taitang Xuanjiu. As for the characteristics of Liu Bingzhong's poetry, deng Shaoji's "History of Literature in the Yuan Dynasty" said: "Liu Bingzhong admired Yuan's good questions, he had ten poems of "Reading The Remains of the Mountain", two of which said: 'Since the ancient article Gui Cida, Su Huangyi is not novel. Liu Bingzhong also has words to pass down, and one of his poems "Linjiang Immortals" is recorded in the "History of Literature in the Yuan Dynasty":

The same is the end of the world wanderers, Jun also went to Xiangcheng first. Yunnan Guan's dangerous dream is still frightening, and he remembers the end of tomorrow, and he sits high in the distant sound of the river. In the past few years, people have grown older and can't bear to think hard about their names. Pouring out his arms to drink and amorous, when the same drunk, waved his hand to thank Gongqing.

For this poem, Deng Shaoji's evaluation is not high: "From the above words, it can also be found that Liu Bingzhong's words are more direct, but the Zonghaofang school does not have the artistic charm of the haofang school." This is also one of the common weaknesses of the early Yuan Dynasty word composition. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Wang Pengyun wrote for Liu Bingzhong's "Tibetan Spring Lefu" and said that the words "majestic but not lost in chu, implying and not flowing in the side" are indeed overflowing words. ”

Liu Bingzhong also composed a song "Mulan Flower Slow and Mixed One After-The-Other":

Looking forward to the vastness of Qiankun, the meeting of the past, the good storm. Think of the beginning of Han Ding, Tang Ji was built, and the creatures are like spring. However, some people believe that this word is not from Liu Bingzhong's hand, and Zha Hongde, in the article "Examination of liu Bingzhong's literary literature retention", determined that the word "can be concluded that it is not Bingzhong's work". Ge Renkao, after some inference in the book "Research on Liu Bingzhong, a Heavy Minister of the Yuan Dynasty", concluded that this poem was indeed written by Liu Bingzhong.

Regarding Liu Bingzhong's controversial works, as well as his eight scattered songs "Dry Lotus Leaves", I record the first and fifth songs as follows:

One: dried lotus leaves, pale color, old handle wind swaying. Reduced fragrance, more and more yellow. All because of a frost last night, lonely on the autumn river.

Of these eight "Dried Lotus Leaves", the most controversial of which is the fifth, Ming Yangshen said in the first volume of the "Poetry": "This borrowed cavity to say goodbye, and the examples of later generations are also examples." However, its song is poignant and emotional, and the widow of the ages is also. Or Yun Fei Bingzhong. Bingzhong helped the culprit Song, but it was not early, and it was reverted to the word of suspension, and its common so-called axe cut the hand and so on. Yang Shen believed that Liu Bingzhong helped the Mongols attack the Song Dynasty, and Liu was eager to quickly destroy the Song Dynasty, how could he come to hang Song Gaozong? It is precisely because of this that Cha Hongde said: "The reason is the same as the "Magnolia Slow And Mixed One Post-Endowment" in the lyrics, this song is based on the extinct Southern Song Dynasty, when Bingzhong was dead. Cha believes that Liu Bingzhong had already died when the Southern Song Dynasty fell, so Liu could not talk about what happened after his death. Ge Renkao believes that this way of judging is incorrect, and gives some examples to prove that Liu Bingzhong's statement is only an exclamation, not that the Southern Song Dynasty is dead at this time. Later, Ge quoted the conclusion in Li Shuyi's "Examination of the Authenticity of Liu Bingzhong's Small Orders of Dry Lotus Leaves": "Before there are new discoveries, it is more prudent to attribute the eight small orders of "Dry Lotus Leaves" to Liu Bingzhong's name according to the "Yangchun White Snow". ”

One day in the eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty, Liu Bingzhong died. Regarding this matter, the "Records of the Continuation Of the Finger" records it in more detail: "In the summer of the eleventh year (1274) of the first year (zhiyuan), fasting and bathing in the quiet house of Nanping. On the night of the nineteenth day of the autumn month of August, the waiter said, 'I want to sit still, and I will not come if I am not summoned.' 'All waiters retreat.' Long song until the chicken chirps. Late ming, the waiter entered the palace, sat upright, as if pretending to be asleep. The color remains unchanged day by day, and the knower knows that the public sits and sits away. He died in his fifties and nine, and he was the heir to the throne. Zhao Bingwen, the secretary and secretary of the Shangli Department, chose to be buried in the southwest of the capital on the 30th day of the winter october (the 30th day of the snow festival), and all the funds for the burial were out of internal security. ”

This passage says that after Liu Bingzhong's death, the emperor sent people to bury him in the southwest of Beijing, and all the expenses were paid by the government, and this place is now the Lugou Bridge, and the "Ming Dynasty Unified Chronicle" Volume 1 "Jingshi Mausoleum" said: "Liu Bingzhong's tomb, in the north of lugou bridge, the stone beast in front of the tomb still exists." The staff member heard what I said, he looked at the small pavilion in the courtyard, and then turned his eyes to look at the ticket booth in the distance, it seemed that he also felt that the design of the path was not entirely reasonable, and then he told me that I could not buy tickets, but he could not take the money, because there was a probe above his head, and he asked me to wrap the camera inside my clothes to prevent the probe from seeing that I was a tourist, because according to the regulations, tourists need to enter through the main entrance after buying tickets, not this exit. This is a famous feng shui book of magic numbers, which has been circulated in later generations, but most researchers believe that the book is not from Liu Bingzhong's hand, and now this pavilion is named after the title of the book, indicating that the copyright of this book is still installed on Liu's head.

The couplet holding the pillar on the small pavilion is in the form of a book: the collection of books is wonderfully cut from a thousand domains, and the jade ruler is difficult to measure eight buckets. The pavilion is hexagonal, in the middle of which stands a large stele of more than two meters high and more than one meter wide, the right side of the front is engraved with "The Tomb Site of Liu Bingzhong of yuan Taibao", the upper section of the left side is a line engraved image of Liu Bingzhong wearing an official hat, and below it is hundreds of words of explanatory text, the back of the stele is "Liu Bingzhong Tomb Record", there are nearly a thousand words, the font is a little strange, it looks like a small seal, but some of the strokes of "Tianfa Divine Curse". Three meters away from the small pavilion on the side of the river embankment in front of the stele pavilion, stands a samurai figurine carved in white jade, which is nearly three meters high and exquisitely carved, probably because of weathering, and the face of the samurai has been blurred. He stood there alone, and the sense of loneliness hanging from each other seemed really sympathetic. On the west side parallel to the samurai figurines, there is a willow tree that is less than 100 years old, and all that can be seen is that there are some stone components for construction on the side of the pavilion, which seems to be expanded.

With Liu Bingzhong's great name in history, after his death, people kept coming to pay homage, and Yao Guangxiao, an important figure with his name, wrote a poem "Spring Gurudwara Liu Taibao Tomb Works":

Fang Shi Deng'an Zang Chun, bing hou Song Jie cut off wages.

This Yao Guangxiao had a particularly similar experience to Liu Bingzhong, and Yao also played a crucial role in Zhu Di's ascension to the throne, and I think his mixed feelings when he came to Liu Bingzhong's tomb must have been very different from others.
