Unexpectedly, not far from the Three Gorges Dam is Qu Yuan's hometown.
Due to the dam, this area of water is particularly clear, like a blue lake, and the two banks of the lake are full of park-like scenery. There is a cloud belt on the upper side, a forest belt in the middle, a water belt on the bottom, and the new city of Zigui on the left bank, with white buildings layered on top of each other, completely a style of the Gorge River. The old town of Zigui was originally low and had been submerged under the water, and the entire county town was built here. The first thing that catches the eye is the Qu Yuan Ancestral Hall, which preceded the Tang Dynasty, which was relocated and restored due to the Three Gorges Project, and now the Qu Yuan Ancestral Hall is towering on the Phoenix Mountain, still maintaining the original traditional craftsmanship and folk characteristics. Climbing up layer by layer, the stone and wood structure is quite dignified, and the shades of green and white and dark red highlight the awe-inspiring atmosphere.
The car passed by the dam and came from the protective dam to Zigui. Zigui guards the largest river in China and should be the hometown of a great poet. Walking in Zigui, there is a novelty and an excitement. The old houses on both sides of the street are still a combination of stone, green brick, wood and tile, and the deeper you go, the more you can feel the history of the Gorge River reflected in the carvings of those figures and beasts. Whether it is a building or a shop sign, there are symbols related to Qu Yuan everywhere. Anyone who asks any question will feel their pride as Qu Yuan's old family, and they can tell Qu Yuan's story and even read Qu Yuan's poems.
Hao Hao Sun Moon, Qu Yuan "the quality of loyalty, the nature of physical cleanliness, straight as a stone, Yan like Danqing; do not hide their plots, retreat regardless of their lives, this sincere and unique trip, Toshihiko's Yingye." "In particular, the psalms he left behind can be called treasures of the world. Qu Yuan was the founder of Chinese romantic literature, the founder and representative of the Chu Ci, and Su Shi also admired him: "Wu Wen has always admired him and cannot reach the one who can't reach it, but Qu Zi has one ear." "For many years, the literati rioters have all taken "Leaving the Riot" as the peak of literature and diligently studied. Lu Xun commented: Compared with the "Poem", its words are very long, its thoughts are very illusory, its writing is very beautiful, its purpose is very clear, and in terms of heart, it does not obey the rules... Its influence was on later articles, or even more than three hundred. "Leaving the Troubles" can really be described as full of emotion, momentum, and with a distinct personality brilliance, it expresses Qu Yuan's ideals and pain, pursuit and enthusiasm, and casts Qu Yuan's entire life.

Qu Yuan did not want to join the world and hid himself in the water. For more than two thousand years, he has been deeply missed. Now he was standing at the top of Phoenix Mountain, looking east at a river of spring water. The Chu people, Shang Feng, constantly see the pattern of phoenix birds, and there are also phoenix sculptures on local house buildings. Qu Yuan's temperament is high, his character is superior, "he rides the eight dragons and the snake that carries the cloud banner." Depressing and thrifty, the god is high and the mieki. "Letting Qu Yuan ancestral hall rise high on phoenix mountain is also highly anticipated."
People here say that after Qu Yuan threw himself into the river, the sister who washed clothes by the river heard the call in the water, "Zi Gui, Zi Gui..." The sister went back to tell her, and she had the act of rowing a boat to throw food to sacrifice. The Genealogy of the Qu Clan says that Lady Deng, Qu Yuan's wife, throws food into the Miluo River every year on the fifth day of the first month of May. Qu Yuan's tomb is one in Miluo and the other in Zigui.
In the migration footage, I see a photograph of a boatman carrying a dragon head. It was not an ordinary boat decoration, it was the symbol of a dragon boat. The Zigui people did not give up the ancient tradition, and they brought the dragon boats that they had rowed for many generations to the new site. In the ancestral halls, I found treasures that had been handed down from generation to generation, painted with gold and silver, and tied with red cloth straps. In Zigui, dragon boats are very important. In front of Qu Yuan Ancestral Hall, people remember their ancestors, and every year they hold dragon boat rowing activities, and every sound of drums and slogans is like the call of "Zi Gui, Zi Gui". "Yunqi hunts and hunts over the young man, and the thunder drum is noisy Yin Biliu." Qu Zi's unjust soul is still in ancient times, and the relics of ChuXiang are still there. The Ming Dynasty poet Bian Gong described in "Noonday Guan Jingdu" is the scene of dragon boat racing.
In order to commemorate Qu Yuan, the Xiajiang people left behind a variety of customs, an old man said that on the fifth day of the first month of May, an altar would be set up at the Qu Yuan Temple to worship Qu Yuan, and the rice stored in bamboo tubes was thrown into the water to call for the soul of Qu Zi to return. There is also the Poetry Society, which, since the Ming Dynasty, has been spontaneously organized by people who have read private schools to chant Chu Ci or sing poems. At that time, everyone hung mugwort calamus, tied incense bags, ate rice dumplings, and drank male yellow wine. I know that after the unification of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the Dragon Boat Festival to commemorate Qu Yuan has become not limited to the Jingchu region, but has become a national festival custom. "The rice dumplings are divided into two buns, and the ai is tied with a dangerous crown." It is the scene of the Dragon Boat Festival in the Southern Song Dynasty described by Lu You. The Dragon Boat Festival is not only a kind of commemoration, but also a kind of sustenance, a kind of call, a yearning, a kind of faith, it makes people drive away disasters and evil spirits, makes people unite and forge ahead, and makes people optimistic.
The Dragon Boat Festival is coming, some people are already preparing reed leaves, some people are collecting wormwood, and some people are brushing dragon boats with another layer of tung oil. I can imagine what kind of atmosphere and what kind of bustle there will be on the day of the Dragon Boat Festival.
Three
Standing on the Phoenix Mountain, looking at the overlapping clouds and overlapping mountains, I feel the thickness and breadth of this piece of heaven and earth. Everywhere are white mountain orange blossoms, oranges are a specialty of Zigui, Qu Yuan's personally planted orange orchard here is called Song Tangerine Slope, and people will not forget the immortal poems he wrote for oranges. You can also see emerald green bamboo, like bushes of open phoenixtails. A plant that resembles a tulip, the locals call it Bamao grass. Like a fire of grass, the pen generally scribbled the blue sky. Qu Yuan loves flowers and grass, and he is good at using beautiful flowers as a gentleman, and satirizing villains with evil wood and grass. On the return of The Zi, the mountains are full of all kinds of gorgeous colors, and there are clusters of cherry blossoms on the riverside. The river is so close and clear that it is a high gorge and lake more than 100 meters deep. In the brilliant sunlight, various petals fluttered and flew in the wind, covering the zigui with a mysterious hue.
Coming out of Qu Yuan's ancestral hall, I actually saw a group of elementary school students standing on the platform, lining up to greet this immortal-level figure. People here say that there are often groups of people who come to worship.
"Qu Ping's words are endowed with the sun and the moon, and the Chu king Tai Xie is empty of hills." Qu Yuan's thoughts, Qu Yuan's purity, Qu Yuan's poetry, and Qu Yuan's pursuit are all admired by people. The children were dressed in cyan costumes, looking neat and solemn. Together, they recited Qu Yuan's poem, which jumped with a flock of birds to the top of the Phoenix Mountain. On the top of the mountain, it seems that the wind and current talents who seem to see the Three Gorges are still "the land with the long ridge, the Cui Song of the crown cutting the clouds, and the bright moon and the treasure lu", with the faith of the mountains and rivers, soaring among the clouds.
