Every year in May, in Meng Village, Wangping Township, Ruyang County, the azaleas on the mountain first bloom and are red, attracting many tourists to come to watch for free.
Coinciding with the weekend a few people in our group, after eating, we walked to Ruyang County, to the county seat, the scale of the county town is not very large, but it is very exquisite, the North Ru River runs through the city, the river is not large, but it is very clear, bending and flowing eastward, forming a beautiful landscape painting! Out of the county seat, continue to the south, just into the mountains, along the valley to the south, the small river meandering in it, between the green mountains and rivers, occasionally there are a few farmhouses hidden in the green water and green mountains, just like a beautiful ink landscape painting!
Continue along the river there are small reservoirs lying across two mountain streams, the water is crystal clear, there must be fish in it, I am a fishing enthusiast, I have time to try it! Keep going and you'll reach your destination! The rhododendrons all over the mountains, red like fire, bunches, clusters, are very beautiful! A few of us couldn't wait to park the car, so we walked up the hill to see the world of flowers and the ocean of flowers!
The rhododendrons here are wild rhododendrons, mainly distributed in Ruyang County, Jiguan Mountain, Mengcun, Lianghe and other villages, especially in Mengcun Rhododendron Ridge is the most concentrated, with a total area of thousands of acres, there are lilac, dark purple, pure white, pink white, light yellow, light red, crimson and so on, the flowering period of rhododendrons can usually last about a month.
