At the event, Mr. Guo Yuefang talked about his "scientific life": he liked literature since he was a child, and went out of his beloved hometown to study and work; Transferred to the diplomatic front, to the Somali embassy; After returning to China, he was transferred to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He told the deeds of Zhao Zhongyao, Qian Xuesen, Qian Sanqiang, Deng Jiaxian, Guo Yonghuai, Peng Jiamu and other scientists with affection, so that the audience deeply felt that on the journey of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, generation after generation of scientific and technological workers are concerned about the motherland and the people, and the spiritual strength of selfless dedication has won the applause of the audience.

Mr. Guo Yuefang is the honorary chairman of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Federation of Literature and Art, enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council, and is known as the "Chinese Science Poet". He used to be an attaché at the Chinese Embassy in Somalia, editor-in-chief of China Science News, and secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his tenure, Mr. Guo Yuefang met and worked with many scientists, and was infected by the spirit of scientists every day, which stimulated Guo Yuefang's motivation for literary creation. Up to now, Mr. Guo Yuefang has published more than 100 poetry collections, prose collections, documentary literature, popular science, calligraphy and painting, and more than 200 works edited and reviewed, showing the major scientific and technological achievements of different eras and different scientific fields in the mainland, and the spiritual outlook of outstanding scientists.
