This morning (May 17), the 26th Yangpu District Family Education Publicity Week sponsored by the Yangpu District Civilization Office, Yangpu District Education Bureau, and Yangpu District Women's Federation officially kicked off at the Experimental School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
"As parents, we must teach by example, and fathers should also take on their own family responsibilities, rather than blindly leaving the heavy housework to their mothers, and putting the burden of educating their children on the shoulders of their mothers, especially in second-child families, we must do a good job in family division of labor and create a good family environment and learning atmosphere for children!" Teacher Wang worked hard and persuaded patiently, and the parents of the students raised their awareness and gradually changed. At the event, the Junior High School Affiliated to the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology brought the sitcom "Home-School Co-education and Growth", which was based on the home visit of the class teacher, and brought a wonderful performance to the audience, so that everyone could realize the importance of family education.
In September 2023, Zheng Xiaoyan Studio, a famous teacher studio for family education guidance in Shanghai, was officially established. With the construction of good family style as the carrier and the goal of "home-school co-education of good family style", the studio focuses on the construction of "three forces" such as the integration of teachers' family style education resources, the development of family style education curriculum and the family guidance of family style education.
In this event, Professor Tang Mingyan, a researcher at the School of Marxism of Fudan University, President Zheng Xiaoyan and the backbone members of the studio also brought a TED talk on "Family Style in the New Era of School-Family-Community Co-education", introducing the efforts made by the studio in actively promoting the construction and cultivation of a good family style in the new era.
Xue Dong, a parent representative, told reporters: "The speeches of several teachers not only have a specific interpretation of family style and family education in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also have a practical exploration of doing a good job in family style and family education in the new era, and also teach some specific operation methods, which is very beneficial to us." We should strengthen cooperation with the school, as parents in the future, we should start from ourselves, pay attention to our words and deeds, let the children inherit social virtues, inherit family virtues, set a good example of personal morality, and strive to promote family harmony, good family style, good family education, and accompany children to grow up healthy and happy. ”
In June 2023, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission carried out the evaluation of the Shanghai Family Education Demonstration School (2023-2027). A total of 39 kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools and secondary vocational schools in Yangpu District have been rated as 2023-2027 Shanghai Family Education Work Demonstration Schools. At the event, 39 demonstration schools were awarded medals.
In addition, members of the "Concentric Circles" Family Education Guidance Lecturer Group were awarded letters of appointment. The 30 members of the lecturer group come from all walks of life, and the special courses they provide for family education guidance are diverse and comprehensive, and will jointly play a new chapter in the collaborative education of schools, families and communities in the future.
The purpose of this activity is to take the Family Education Publicity Week as an opportunity to build a platform integrating communication, learning and sharing, explore the regional linkage mechanism of family education in a wider field, jointly build and share high-quality resources with higher quality, promote the construction and development of teachers in a deeper and more collaborative manner, and promote the active participation of parents in family education work on a larger scale.
It is understood that in the next week, the 12 family education guidance stations in the district will also carry out a series of multi-theme and multi-form family education guidance activities such as movie viewing, family education guidance lectures, parent-child experience activities, parent-child classrooms, red family style lectures and parent-child reading activities. In the future, Yangpu District will continue to improve the ways for the regional education department and the District Women's Federation and other departments to work together, and continue to move forward on the road of collaborative education to cultivate a better future.
