Article 37 of the Academic Degrees Law of the People's Republic of China, which was passed not long ago, clearly states that if a dissertation or practical achievement is found to have academic misconduct such as ghostwriting, plagiarism, and forgery, the degree-awarding institution shall not grant the degree or revoke the degree upon the resolution of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee. Some education research scholars said that the policies issued by universities in many places strictly prohibit AI paper writing are implementing the relevant requirements of the degree law.

The reporter typed in the title bar "The status quo and future development of China's transportation sharing services", adjusted the number of words to 1000 words, and in less than a minute, AI generated a paper with a word count of 1248 words, but the free reading is only 200 words, and you need to pay to unlock all the articles, and the lowest price of the so-called "intelligent creation" is 2 dimes each time.
This applet, called "AI Essay Writing Assistant", provides a large number of templates including "Thesis Topic Selection", "Writing Thesis Proposal", "Writing Thesis Outline" and so on. The reporter noticed that the mini program also provides a "writer" service, and the reporter contacted the customer service staff of the mini program, and the other party said that the "writer" service can provide customized services, but it is also based on AI tools. This also means that when universities conduct AIGC testing, they will be detected.
AI tools are subject to security and reliability risks
AI technology continues to evolve and provide strong support for people's learning and thinking. But experts say AI technology can be used to aid learning, but it should not be overly relied upon.

In addition, there are serious biases in some of the cited data.
Education scholars said that AI tools can be used as an aid to academic research to a certain extent, but in academic research such as thesis writing, students need to have a correct attitude, and schools should introduce specific management measures to avoid academic misconduct such as plagiarism and plagiarism caused by the abuse of AI tools.
