Industry insiders said that since the implementation of the visa-free policy, the number of Thai tourists to China has increased significantly, and with the current trend, the number of Thai tourists to China this year will increase by 40% to 50% compared with last year. In addition to the visa-free policy, the increase in the number of flights between China and Thailand, the increase in the number of international passenger trains on the China-Laos Railway, and the introduction of convenient payment methods for foreign tourists in China are also important reasons for the increase in the number of Thai tourists visiting China.
