On the occasion of the 48th International Museum Day, the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center recently ushered in a fine exhibition of Jiangle kiln Song porcelain with the theme of "porcelain mountains and seas", exhibiting more than 100 pieces of fine ceramics of the Song Dynasty from Jiangle County, bringing historical relics spanning thousands of years to the public.
Walking into the exhibition hall on the second floor of the south of the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center, a magnificent and dazzling ceramic cultural relics are presented in front of people's eyes, covering bowls, plates, saucers, stoves, pots, cans and many other categories of daily life utensils. According to the organizers, the works on display are all from the fine cultural relics produced in Jiangle County during the Song and Song dynasties, including rare cultural relics such as "blue glazed lotus pattern phoenix head pot", "tiger-shaped Xizhen" and "lotus heart table", which perfectly show the porcelain-making process of Jiangle County thousands of years ago.
It is reported that the music kiln is named after the place, with a long history, profound porcelain-making skills, there were pottery fired in the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the Tang Dynasty became a well-known comprehensive porcelain kiln in China. The development of the Song Dynasty Jiangle kiln, ushered in the heyday of development, large output and excellent quality, is the most representative kiln in Fujian at that time. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the kiln fire of Jiangle kiln continued, mainly firing blue and white porcelain, until today, the local area still retains the non-genetic inheritance of ancient porcelain.
"Each piece in this exhibition is closely related to the daily life of ordinary people in the Song and Song dynasties, and through these works, the public can get a closer look at the ceramic craftsmanship and folk customs of Jiangle County a thousand years ago." Talking about the theme of this exhibition, Yu Leixi, deputy director of Xiangyunxuan Jiangle Kiln Museum, said that Qinglong Town, located in Shanghai, was one of the important ports of the Maritime Silk Road during the Tang and Song dynasties, and between 2010 and 2016, a large number of porcelain specimens were unearthed in Qinglong Town, including Song Dynasty Jiangle kiln ceramics, thus confirming the relationship between Shanghai and Jiangle County thousands of years ago. ”
"As an important position for inheriting traditional folk culture, the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center has all kinds of exhibitions of folk skills and intangible cultural heritage all year round.
