Inspired by DC's Bruce Wayne, Automobili Pininfarina has created a new range of bespoke all-electric vehicles. Bruce Wayne's on-screen presence inspired two new highly exclusive editions, the Automobili Pininfarina B95 hyper Barchetta and the Battista hyper GT. Each element of the two unique specs, "Gotham" and "Dark Knight," has been carefully designed to celebrate the luxurious lifestyle of the pop culture icon, who has appeared in many forms of entertainment and media since his debut in 1939.
Vehicle specifications
Automobili Pininfarina has created two exclusive versions of the B95 hyper Barchetta and Battista hyper GT, called Gotham and Dark Knight, with a number of unique and never-before-seen technical specifications. All four vehicles are powered by a high-capacity 120kWh lithium-ion battery and four electric motors that produce 1,900 horsepower. That's enough for each all-electric model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in less than two seconds – faster than the current Formula 1 car.
Both the Battista and B95 models feature new HMI display enhancements inspired by Wayne Enterprises, with command sounds inspired by Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's loyal butler and assistant. The Battista model also offers new performance-enhancing specifications. These include tailgate shark fins and louvered openings on the front and rear carbon fiber wings to improve the overall aerodynamic efficiency of the rear air brakes and body sides. The exterior features the Wayne corporate logo on the side skirts and roof, and all models feature a unique aluminum chassis and door panels inspired by Bruce Wayne.
To further emphasise the concept of "Dream Cars Made Real", the interiors of both the Battista Gotham and Dark Knight cars benefit from a new door and roof design, with most of the roof being curved glass to lighten the interior atmosphere.
Gotham Specs This design is designed to reflect Bruce Wayne's gentle, civilian sophistication. Both the B95 and Battista models feature a unique tan leather upholstery, with a custom quilted central panel with tan stitching.

The wheels of the Gotham B95 are very similar to those of the Gotham Battista, except that they feature a matte black inner ring and a glossy black outer ring, complete with Titan calipers and a brushed aluminum anodized black rim center lock ring.
In contrast, The Dark Knight's design reflects Bruce Wayne's use of technology to maintain an edge in the fight against Gotham City's underworld crimes. The vehicles feature black Alcantara and black leather upholstery with distinctive two-tone contrast stitching in black and gold.

All four designs reflect Wayne's commitment to innovation and Bruce Wayne's own personality. From the subtle use of the Wayne Enterprise logo throughout the vehicle, to custom seat embroidery and Alfred Pennyworth-inspired sounds, these dream cars are the embodiment of Gotham City's iconic characters.
Earlier this month, Automobili Pininfarina unveiled its third model, called the Battista Reversario, which can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 1.79 seconds. Pininfarina's all-electric cars all look like cars that Batman would drive, or at least the cars that Bruce Wayne, the true identity of the Caped Crusaders, would drive around Gotham City.
In addition to the Battista, Automobili Pininfarina has launched another model called the B95 Barchetta, an open-top supercar that is currently the most expensive all-electric vehicle on the planet. It's definitely Bruce Wayne fodder.
DC Comics and Warner Bros., the companies behind the Batman series, felt the same way, so they hired Automobili Pininfarina to transform the two models into four custom electric cars, with plans to sell them to the public.
