On April 15, the Information Office of the State Council, UNESCO, and the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO co-sponsored the "International Symposium on the Concept of Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations" and related supporting activities. Adhering to the concept of "sharing beauty and heart-to-heart", the Chinese Cuisine Association was invited to participate in the preparation of the reception of "Chinese Culture • Elegant Collection" on the day of the seminar, and produced the reception dishes.

In the form of themed booths, buffets and on-site skill demonstrations, the "Chinese Culture • Elegant Collection" reception menu invited well-known chefs from Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Chaozhou, Guilin, Taiyuan and Beijing to design 6 cold dishes, 8 hot dishes, 3 staple dishes, 5 desserts and 5 flavor dishes, with Fujian cuisine, one of the eight most representative cuisines in China, as the main body, integrating the characteristic elements of flavors from all over the mainland, a total of 27 dishes.

At this reception, a gastronomic feast that blends tradition and modernity attracted the attention of dignitaries from all over the world. This event is not only a comprehensive display of Chinese culinary arts, but also a concentrated embodiment of the charm of Chinese culture. Zhang Jianchun, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, Qu Xing, Deputy Director-General of UNESCO, and more than 200 guests from UNESCO officials, representatives of Member States, international organizations, experts and scholars from various countries, regions and international organizations, including youth representatives, attended the event and spoke highly of the exquisite skills and unique flavors of Chinese cuisine.
