Hamilton is 1.93m tall and plays as a shooting guard. Last season, he played for the South Bay Lakers in the G League, averaging 14.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He played for UNLV University for four years, averaging 14.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. In his senior season, Hamilton averaged 21.8 points, 5 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 43 percent from the field and 34.6 percent from three-point range.

The Lakers signed training camp contracts to four players on September 8, including Borden, Bove and Pippen Jr. in addition to Hamilton. They have little hope of staying unless they perform well in training camp and pre-season.
