On November 23, the Lakers lost 105-115 to the Suns, Davis scored 37 points, 21 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 blocks and 5 steals, becoming the first player to score 32+20+5+5 since the introduction of blocks and steals, and achieved at least 30 points and 15 rebounds on at least 60% shooting in four consecutive games, tying the longest NBA record held by Chamberlain (1963) and McAdoo (1975). At the same time, 21 rebounds also set Davis' Lakers career record.

On December 3, the Lakers beat the Bucks 133-129 on the road, Davis shot 18-of-27, 2-of-3 from three-point range, and 6-of-7 from the free-throw line, scoring a season-high 44 points, plus 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks, and scoring at least 40 points and 10 rebounds for the 31st time in his career, tying Harden and rising to third place since the NBA/ABA merger, and becoming the third player in history to cut 25 points and 12 rebounds on 50% or more shooting in eight consecutive games.
