OTA upgrades have become a common occurrence in smart cars, and new forces spare no effort to upgrade frequently. Tesla, Wei Xiaoli, etc. have been upgraded many times in January, and in the past year, Tesla's upgrades have reached double digits, and December is basically dominated by the OTAs of new car companies.

The details of OTAs of automakers are as follows:

NIO: All three systems are OTA

NIO carried out a relatively large upgrade at the end of the year, upgrading the three major systems of Asen, Banyan and Alder. Among them, ET7, ES7 and ET5 are equipped with the Banyan Rong system; The 2022 ES8, ES6, and EC6 are equipped with the Alder Alder Alder system; The previous 2022 ES8, ES6, and EC6 were equipped with the Aspen Topol system.

In this upgrade, the Banyan system has more than 50 new features and improvements, including ET7 support for vehicle close-range summoning. Alder has over 30 new improvements. The upgrade project involves the driving domain and cockpit domain, among which the brake disc dehumidification and rust removal function and the low-temperature charging and preheating function are more practical functions, and NIO said that OTAs are upgraded in response to user feedback.

Zero Run: The intelligent cockpit has been optimized in many places

Zerorun C11 has added 14 new functions this time, mainly focusing on the cockpit domain. Including the addition of Carlink mobile phone car connection, Le Orange home control equipment, online 3D small zero form, Apple Watch, OPPO watch car connection, etc., to expand the use scenarios of car networking. There are also 9 functional improvements, including steering wheel heating, seat heating and ventilation, etc., but this function can only be optimized for vehicles equipped with the "Comfort Full Package".

In addition, profile mode adds power saving mode and experience mode. Power saving is turned on, the air conditioner is switched to ECO, and energy recovery is the strongest, but the speed is recommended to not exceed 60Km/h at this time; Experience mode is to temporarily disable the power and cannot drive the static experience vehicle.

In terms of safety, the Zerorun C11 has added the functions of window unclosed reminder, forgot to lock the car reminder, and guardian mode end reminder. All functions will be notified through the mobile app. Forgetting to lock the car will be reminded after 3 minutes, and the end of the guard will be reminded after 30 minutes.

This is a relatively large upgrade of Zerorun this year, bringing more intelligent experience to the C11.

Tesla: Closing cybersecurity gaps

Tesla has made 2 upgrades this month, mainly around network security issues, first optimized for NFC vulnerabilities, adding new keys requires users to confirm on the car interface, and new keys are not allowed in valet mode. During the second upgrade, the file read condition competition issue and the file read permission access control rule issue of the gateway boot loader were further fixed.

Previously, Tesla has repeatedly violated data privacy controversies, other smart cars have also had data leaks, the network security of smart cars can not be ignored, and the specific problems of network security are changing dynamically. After this upgrade, the vulnerability of NFC is reduced, and the number of confirmations for users is increased, reducing the chance of hackers.

In addition, because it is winter, Tesla has made some improvements for winter driving, including the power supply stability of the battery monitoring unit at low temperature and low battery power; steering wheel steering smoothness at low temperatures; Vehicle stability and tire configuration are optimized for high-speed cornering.

Another major optimization point is in vehicle control, the suspension parking automatic lowering option can be closed, and the suspension lowering function after parking can be customized to open and close. The new seat welcome mode can be individually adjusted, and when closed, the seat does not move back when the door is opened, reducing the waiting time after opening the door.

For winter travel, Gaohe has also optimized some specific functions, when the dashcam camera is blocked by fog, it will automatically turn on the defogging function, and the exterior mirror will automatically open in rainy and snowy weather, and automatically turn off after heating for 15 minutes.

Lantu: Dreamer's first OTA

Lantu Dreamer is OTA 1.0 with a total of 22 updates, which is the first OTA for the car, including 7 new additions and 15 optimizations.

Similarly, Dreamer has added a snow mode that balances front and rear wheel torque 50:50 to reduce the risk of vehicle skidding.

When going out camping, etc., the discharge cut-off setting has been removed, but it is only available for low-carbon models. At the same time, the low-carbon version of Dreamer can upgrade the fast charging set worth 9999 yuan for free, the charging speed is increased by more than 7 times, and it can be fully charged with 20-80% in 30 minutes.

As a medium and large MPV, Lantu Dreamer mainly focuses on family travel scenarios, so the experience of rear seat passengers has become the focus of car companies. This upgrade includes the addition of the second-row seat function of the center control screen, and the custom fragrance opening time, with three options: 30 minutes, 60 minutes and unlimited time.

Compared with several MPVs with higher sales on the market, the main advantage of Dreamer is its intelligence, and I wonder if the subsequent OTA upgrade can be more obvious.

Extreme Fox: Multi-function synchronization of mobile phones and car machines

This is the 12th upgrade of the Extreme Fox and the 3rd upgrade this year. This version has been optimized more on the application side, and many function reminders need to be completed through the synchronous upgrade of the Extreme Fox APP.

For example, the charging center will synchronize the mobile phone charging center to the car terminal, and there is also a low battery active reminder function; Optimize the abnormal parking reminder function; DRIVING REPORT 3.0 AND MORE ARE AVAILABLE IN ARCFOX 2.0.30.

At the same time, the steering wheel button function supports 6 custom function settings, and the steering wheel multi-function button opens/turns off 360 hologram and reversing image functions.
