Kevin Feige called Endgame the final Avengers movie

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige called Avengers: Endgame the last Avengers movie. Joe and Anthony Russell's 2019 film is the pinnacle of Infinite Legends, and with the failure of Thanos, this chapter of the Marvel Universe has come to an end. However, it is also likely to be the last film centered around the most powerful hero on earth.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe began in 2008 with Jon Feiru and Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, but it wasn't until 2012's Avengers that Fitch's plan was consolidated. Its success has further inspired Marvel Studios to advance and build its universe. Over the course of three stages of development, Infinite Legends ended in Avengers: Endgame. In a series of disappointing endings, the Russo brothers miraculously bring the story to a satisfactory conclusion, while also bringing some of the characters' personal journeys to a successful conclusion.

Fans would have thought that after Avengers 4: Endgame, it would be some time before another new Avengers movie would be released. But now, Feige says, there may not be any more such arrangements. In a review of Marvel Studios Assembled: Eternal Creation (via comic book), the design gurus of the Marvel Universe hint that they have completed the infinite saga of "the last Avengers movie." Here's his full account:

"Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe have now passed their tenth anniversary, and with the release of the last Avengers movie, we have finally completed Infinite Legends for 22 films."

Apparently, this record was filmed during the main filming period of Eternals, shortly after the release of Avengers: Endgame. So, maybe Feige is referring to their last Avengers movie in the Infinite Saga phase. Still, the producer was also very cautious in answering questions. In fact, whenever the media tries to obtain confidential information from him, he gives an uncertain answer, so the above comments are not excluded intentionally. In the big picture, it's hard to believe that Marvel Studios will stop making Avengers movies. No matter how big the series is, the most powerful heroes on earth are still their original superhero team. It's just that the official release of "Avengers 5" will definitely take some time.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios is focusing on independent projects, and while they're not under the Avengers banner, that doesn't mean the Marvel Universe can't bring them together. At least the upcoming "Doctor Strange: Crazy Multiverse" has become a star-studded blockbuster, Professor X played by Patrick Stewart is actually just one of many supporting roles, taking this creative route allows Feige to slowly build its next big event after "Avengers 4: Endgame" while making crossover movies, as to whether to continue the "Avengers" signboard, it depends on how Marvel thinks, in the end it is just a name.
