"Dream Master Preface To the Dream of the Red Chamber (Jia Chen Ben)" is one of the 12 editions of the existing "Dream of the Red Chamber Ancient Banknote Book" lipid evaluation system, discovered in 1953 in Zhaocheng, Shanxi, and now in the National Library of China. Originally collected by Zhang Ruijie, the owner and bibliophile of the "Who Garden Library" in ZhaoCheng, after Zhang Ruijie's death, in 1952 his son Zhang Xiaoheng donated the "100,000 Volumes of Books in the Who Garden Library" to the state free of charge, which contained this set of rare and rare orphan books. The banknote was named "Jiachen Ben" because the preface time was "Jiachen Ju Yue Zhonghuan", and it was named "Dream Master Preface Dream Dream" because of the name of the preface "Dream Master". Because this batch of books was secretly donated at that time, very few people knew its source, until 66 years later, in 2019, Shanxi scholar Wei Hongping, after years of in-depth research and excavation of his hometown culture, finally implicated the root of the collection of this set of books, and finally determined the source of the collection of "Dream of the Red Chamber".
The Dream Master's Preface to the Dream of the Red Chamber (Jia Chen Ben) is completely preserved in eighty and forty volumes without any defects, preserving the original appearance and text of the fat book, and with a unique 253 comments, which later bibliophiles have made extensive revisions to its text, and is a transitional version of the evolution of early banknotes to Cheng Ben. Feng Qiyong, a red scholar, called it a banknote with a unique appearance and special significance: "The earliest monograph of "Dream of the Red Chamber" was single-labeled, and it was recognized by the public for eventually replacing "Stone Record". "The scale of the first eighty times is in the Kotatsu ben." "Its changes to the Jia Shu Ben are the ancestors of the later Cheng Ben who fully inherited the Cheng Ben and the first eighty times of the subsequent engravings!" ...... It fully shows the rarity and preciousness of this ancient banknote, especially its revision, criticism and preface, which has high documentary, historical and academic value for the writing process and text study of "Dream of the Red Chamber", so it is highly respected by the red academic circles at home and abroad.
The National Library Press is the first time since the discovery of the "Jiachen Ben" to "cultural relics reproduction" of the ultra-high specification four-color simulation photocopy publishing, only according to the original simulation of the original book, the relevant research texts are not included, all the predecessors in the book of the incomplete part of the supplementary copy, approval, side changes and sticky strips of the text, etc. are not excluded as they are, and the banknotes are not evaluated separately, the whole book adopts special Anhui handmade rice paper, traditional handmade thread, silk cover, cloth letter sleeve, and the original local reproduction of the original appearance of the original book of "Dream of the Red Chamber Jiachen Ben", Sincerely for the cultural circles, red academic circles of a grand event.
